ConchUs Times of the ("Grateful") Dead Buddhists of America

Home Page

The ConchUs Times Journal Started Out As "Continually In The World," A Title Borrowed From the Tibetan Lama Who Is Not Only Bob Weir's Good Friend, But the Buddhist Priest Who Inspired the Dead's Jerry Garcia To Marry Carolyn "Mountain Girl" Adams, Lama Lodru of the Original San Francisco Tibetan Dharma Center,  KDK, Located for Decades on the Panhandle of S.F.'s Golden Gate Park. After 5 Issues, It Then Became the "CUT" In The Summer of 1992 (gregorian calendar). The Intention Now, Is to Not Only Display Past Issues Here (site under construction as time allows!), But to Come Out of Hiatus With New Forthcoming Issues As We Progress Toward Our 25th Anniversary, And to Create Bigger and Better Events Again, From Benefit Concerts to Buddhist Meditations, Dharma Education and An Expanding Mandala of Tantra/Yantra/Mantra Experiences-=~!~=- This Is the Statement That Appeared In Opening Pages of the CUT : "The Conchus Times, the Journal of the 'Grateful' Dead Buddhists of America, focuses on metaphysical, spiritual, political, environmental issues, and art, poetry, music, socially-engaged Buddhism, Grateful Dead & Buddhist Cultures and Meditations." (as we slowly "come together" again, input is welcome 24-7 to 4-20 at conchustimes at yahoo dot com)
